How to cook Chicken Parmesan recipe?
Homemade chicken parmesan?
Yes please! This is so good! The Panko bread crumbs keep the chicken crispy and best of all, to keep it on the healthier side, the chicken isn’t deep fried. Try out this recipe and let me know how you like it!
Crispy Chicken Parmesan
3 chicken breast sliced in half
1 cup Italian flavoured bread crumbs
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 cup oil for frying
Pasta or marinara sauce
Preheat oven to 425°
In a bowl add chicken, eggs, garlic powder & Italian seasoning. Set aside for 20 min
In a separate bowl, mix bread crumbs with parmesan cheese
Dip chicken into breadcrumbs and place on a dish.
Continue until all chicken is coated
In a skillet, heat oil to med/high heat
Fry chicken until crispy and dark golden flipping half way and reads 165° on a meat thermometer
Place chicken on a baking sheet
Spoon pasta sauce then cheese on the chicken
Bake for 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted
